An artist in every sense of the word, Patrick Lucas has expressed his creativity through many different mediums…from clay, jewelry and 3-dimensional art pieces  to unique and expressive acrylic paintings in his own style he calls "Pop Abstract". With his incredible eye for detail and color, he exhibits a pure, natural talent. Earlier in his life, he made a name for himself through his techniques on the “human canvas”, as a make-up and hair stylist for some high profile artists in the music industry. This stint of his career was highlighted by years traveling exclusively with Cyndi Lauper during her renowned 1980’s success. Diagnosed with AIDS almost 25 years ago, his determination and diligence to overcome adversity, as well as to embrace life to the fullest, is captured in the inspired storytelling that is his artwork.
